Measuring Guide
How we measure tops and outerware:
Chest: We use a “pit to pit” measurement to get our chest measurements. Lay your garment flat and measure straight across from one pit seam to the other.
Shoulder: Flip your garment over and measure from the top of one shoulder seam to the other. Plain and simple.
Back Length: Measure straight down from the collar seam to the bottom of the garment.
Sleeve length: This is the one that can differ from shop to shop or brand to brand. We measure the outside length of the sleeve—that is, from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff.
How we measure pants, jeans, and trousers:
Waist: Simple. Lay your pants face-up and flat. Measure across the top, then multiply by 2. Sorry to make you do math.
Inseam: Easy. Straight down from the crotch seam to the hem:
Front Rise: With your pants face-up, measure from the crotch seam to the top of the waist.
Back Rise: Flip your pants over and, with the pants face-down, measure from the crotch seam to the top of the waist.
Hip: With your pants face-up, measure their width at the pocket openings.
Thigh: Measure the width of the pant leg at around 7-10 centimetres below the crotch seam.
Knee: Measure the width of the pant leg at the knee.
Hem: Measure the width of the pant leg at the hem.
